  • Children in our 2.5 year-old program do not need to be potty-trained. All other programs require the students to be potty-trained.

  • Yes!

    We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as a childcare center. We are licensed to provide care to up to 50 children per session.

    A copy of the ODJFS laws & rules are available on-site for you to view at anytime.

  • All are welcome to apply to attend Good Shepherd Preschool! Provided we have space and fit your child’s educational needs, anyone is welcome to attend Good Shepherd regardless of race, sex, or religion.

  • Good Shepherd Preschool reviews all applications on a first come, first serve basis. Returning families & Good Shepherd church members are given priority on placement in our program. Acceptance letters are emailed to parents by mid-February (or later based on your application date).

    After you’ve received an acceptance letter, you must confirm or decline your child’s placement by the deadline in your letter to reserve your spot.

  • Applications are reviewed and students are accepted based on the needs of the child and Good Shepherd’s program. If you have further questions, reach out to us at preschool@goodshepherd.com.

  • Once you have confirmed, the first tuition payment will be processed immediately and is non-refundable. This will be your September payment. Tuition payments are processed on the first Monday of each month thereafter. The last tuition payment is processed in April.

    Application fees and tuition payments are done through debit/credit card or automatic checking withdrawal. A completed Tuition Express Form is required to be submitted with your application.

  • Yes!

    Any students we are not able to accept due to our program being full are put onto a waiting list. If a space opens up to accommodate your child, we’ll notify you by email.

  • No. Our preschool is open from mid-September through mid-May.

    Good Shepherd Lutheran Church does offer a 1-week Vacation Bible School during summer though if you have interest in that.

  • No. Unfortunately, we do not offer transportation to our students.
